How to Measure Your Size for a Hair System (Toupee)
To wear a toupee with clips + tape:
- Follow the video guide exactly.
- Simply ensure that the size selected can cover your hair loss area plus 2cm to the width and length. e.g. if your hair loss area is 14cm x 16cm, you should choose a size that is at least 16cm x 18cm.
- Always round up rather than round down. e.g. if your hair loss area is 14cm x 18.5cm, you should choose a size that is at least 16cm x 21cm (18.5cm + 2cm = 20.5cm, rounded up to 21cm).
To wear a toupee with full tape or glue:
- Do not add 2 cm to the width and length.
- We know that measuring your size can seem daunting, but don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be perfect. Small inaccuracies are rarely noticeable and can be fixed by shaving a bit more hair or trimming the hair system.
- If you have an existing hair system, you can also measure the width and length of your system and find the closest match with our sizes.
